Recently, one of our digital marketing colleagues had the opportunity to partner with Google in their Job Hopper series on YouTube. Job Hoppers gives advice and showcases what roles in different industries can be like after completing a Google Career certificate. In this episode, they give you a sneak peek into what it’s like to be a digital marketer but also an inside look into our office and day-to-day activities. We were fortunate to be able to create custom USB flash drives for them. There were many ideas that came to mind when thinking about which drive to customize for them. We wanted to go with something that would stand out and pop when presented to someone. We debated between different USB styles such as wooden, wrist, and our classics but ended up going with the USB business cards.
Custom USB business cards have multiple benefits such as their thin design that allows you to easily store and carry them wherever you go. It also has the biggest print area allowing the image and logo to stand out. You can attach them to lanyards and even use them as badges or passes for certain events.
For this project, on the front of the card we put one of their images featuring the host and the Job Hoppers logo. Their image has a grainy effect which is also shown on the USB itself. We make sure to pay attention to every single detail to make sure we are matching it perfectly. This represented the series well as they used the image in their earlier episodes. On the back side, we printed their logo to focus on their YouTube series. Of course, we made sure to color match their logo to stay on brand. We had a lot of fun creating these drives for this unique project.
